Benton County is currently seeking a Child and Family Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
JOB SUMMARY
Benton County’s Behavioral Health team is adding an additional QMHP to the growing Children and Family program! This QMHP works with children, adolescents, young adults and their families, who are in need of mental health support and treatment. Services to be provided include individual therapy, family therapy, and group facilitation, utilizing evidence-based clinical practice and skills, and in compliance with program standards. This QMHP will be located with our Children’s Outpatient team and will provide a combination of clinic-based and community-based services through our outpatient, MRSS, and IIBHT programs. The Children and Family Mental Health team is a dynamic team comprised of QMHPs, QMHAs, Care Coordinators, and Peers who are energetic, creative, and committed to serving the youth and families of Benton County. Self-motivated, dependable, and organized individuals are encouraged to apply. Supervision to obtain LPC licensure is provided, and a $1000 training budget is allotted annually for continuing education.

- Annual salary range of:
- QMHP - Health Care Professional 2: $67,359.30 - $94,183
- QMHP - Health Care Professional 3: $71,383.45 - $99,793
- This position is eligible for two salary raises within the first yearas long as performance is in good standing!
- Note: salary placement will be based on your level of directly related experience and education consistent with Oregon's pay equity law.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSThe following minimum qualifications are required for this position: Please Note: This position can be filled at a 2 or 3 level depending on qualifications.
QMHP - Health Care Professional 2 level (HCP42):- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field; AND
- One year of health experience providing mental health outpatient services; AND
- Must be registered as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with Mental Health & Addiction Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) or be able to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
QMHP - Health Care Professional 3 level (HCP43):- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or closely related field; AND
- Two years of health experience providing mental health outpatient services; AND
- PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure.
Special Requirements:- Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
- Valid Oregon driver's license.
- PsyD, LCSW, LPC, LMFT or equivalent licensure preferred for Health Care Professional Level 2; required for Level 3.
