Ellie Mental Health, PLLP in Latham, NY, seeks a dedicated Child and Adolescent Therapist to join our therapist-centered practice. You will provide individual therapy to children and families, collaborating with schools and caregivers to promote holistic well-being in a clinician-first environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Active or eligible New York State licensure (LMHC or LMFT).
• Active or eligible for Diagnostic Privilege.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in a clinical setting.
• Proficiency in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, TF-CBT, or play therapy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain timely clinical documentation.
• Compassionate, culturally competent, and trauma-informed approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy to children/adolescents using evidence-based modalities.
• Perform biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and schools to support well-being.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation and agency standards.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and supervision.
• Create a safe, trusting therapeutic environment for youth.
