Northwell Health's Department of Behavioral Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified practitioner to join the team at South Oaks Hospital located in Amityville, New York. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills who can work collaboratively with other clinical professionals.

This is a unique opportunity to join the team at South Oaks providing services for our Comprehensive Outpatient Behavioral Services Program as well as care for our Adolescent Partial Hospitalization Program. Responsibilities will be split between both programs and include psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based treatments including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), development of recommendations for continued care, and medical student education. Our team is responsive to the unique needs of children and adolescents, focusing on empowering them to manage their symptoms, attain personal goals, and function effectively when they re-enter the community.

South Oaks Hospital is a 202-bed behavioral health hospital located on the Nassau/Suffolk border of Long Island. For over a century, we have established a local and national reputation for delivering high-quality and compassionate care, crisis management, treatment, and recovery services. Our extensive range of services for children, teens, and adults focuses on improving our patients' functioning at home, work, school, and in their relationships with family, friends, and others.
