Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm

Earn $18.57/hour or $20.57/hour with the selection of Enhanced Pay, plus mileage reimbursement

Position Details

The Child and Adolescent Case Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the mental health of young individuals in Cumberland and Perry Counties. They coordinate services, support families, and tailor care to each child’s unique situation. Their work focuses on harnessing individual strengths, connecting with community resources, and promoting stability. While operating independently, they are backed by a dedicated team, all within a dynamic community program. The resource coordinator actively engages with consumers and their families in the home or in a community setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor all resources.
  • Assist consumers and parents in accessing mental health services.
  • Assess individuals’ strengths and needs.
  • Facilitate access to resources that enhance stability.
  • Provide assessment, service delivery, and problem resolution.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in sociology, social work, psychology, OR related field; or high school diploma/GED with relevant coursework and two years’ experience in mental health; OR a registered nurse (RN) qualification.
  • An active and unrestricted driver’s license is required.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Strong familiarity with seriously mentally ill individuals preferred.
  • Prior experience with children and adolescents preferred.
