Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Program, delivering evidence-based behavioral health treatment in a primary care collaborative model.

Open to full-time or part-time candidates; full-time compensation is $125,000 annually (prorated for part-time). NY Medicaid Provider Number and NY licensure are required; bilingual Spanish/English is a plus, teletherapy experience preferred. Experience with crisis intervention preferred.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology from APA-accredited program.
• Licensed psychologist in NY.
• NY Medicaid Provider Number required.
• 2+ years of post-licensure experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
• Teletherapy experience with children and adolescents.
• Crisis intervention experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments that comply with evidence-based practices
• Provide individual, family and group therapy for patients using evidence-based treatment modalities
• Participate in collaborative care team meetings
• Develop collaborative relationships and referral agreements with community mental health providers
• Monitor patient service quality and progress for referred patients
• Complete required documentation including biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning and implementation in a timely manner
• Work closely with patient, family and team to overcome obstacles in treatment
• Maintain licensure and professional development as required by licensing board
