Job summary

PM Pediatric Care in New York is seeking a licensed Child and Adolescent Psychologist to join our Behavioral Health Program. The role provides psychosocial assessments and evidence-based therapy for depression, anxiety, ADD and conduct disorders within an extended primary care collaborative model.

Open to both full-time and part-time candidates. Full-time compensation is $125,000 annually, prorated for part-time positions. NY Medicaid Provider Number is required to practice with us.

Qualifications

• APA/APA-accredited Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Psychology.
• Licensed psychologist in NY.
• NY Medicaid Provider Number required.
• Minimum 2 years of post-licensure experience.
• Bilingual Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to work with diverse cultural backgrounds.
• Experience providing teletherapy to children and adolescents.
• Experience with crisis intervention.

Responsibilities

• Perform psychosocial assessments following evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual, family and group therapy using evidence-based modalities.
• Participate in collaborative care team meetings.
• Develop relationships and referral agreements with community providers.
• Monitor service quality and patient progress.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans timely.
• Collaborate with patients, families and team to overcome barriers.
• Maintain licensure and pursue ongoing professional development.
