University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychologist to provide evidence-based mental health services to youth and families in outpatient settings. The role includes diagnostic evaluations, individual/family/group therapy, and collaboration with care teams.

Opportunities exist for clinical, training, and research activities within PMHI based on skillset and program needs. Onsite work in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications

• Rank at appointment based on experience in teaching, clinical, research or service to the field.
• Licensure as Colorado Psychologist or eligible for licensure in Colorado.
• Completed APA-approved Ph.D. or PsyD training program with APA-approved internship.

Responsibilities

Job Summary:

This position is primarily responsible for providing evidence-basedmental health services to youth and their families in the CHCO PMHIoutpatient clinic at the Anschutz Medical Campus and/or at one ofthe Network of Care locations. The CHCO PMHI outpatient clinicserves youth presenting with a wide range of emotional andbehavioral difficulties including anxiety, depression, self-harm,suicidality, ADHD, behavioral concerns, and trauma. There may beopportunities to work in additional clinical, training, and/orresearch settings within PMHI based on skillset and programneeds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct evidence-based patient care to youth and familiesincluding diagnostic evaluations, as well as individual, family,and group therapy
• Develop and implement treatment plans and engage in ongoingtreatment monitoring
• Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external providersinvolved in a patient's care
• Supervise, teach, and mentor mental health trainees
• Engage in research, scholarship, and/or quality improvementprojects
• Serve on committees, task forces, and/or workgroups
• May have opportunities to engage in program development incollaboration with PMHI clinical leadership

• 1-3 years of related clinical experience at a rank orequivalent experience.

Associate Professor:

• 4-7 years of related clinical experience at a rank orequivalent experience.

• 7+ years of related clinical experience at a rank or equivalentexperience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience followingcompletion of a post-doctoral fellowship
• Experience working in an APA accredited training program
• Experience working in an academic medical center
• Preference will be given to those who are eager to engage inall aspects of the academic mission (e.g., clinical, teaching,scholarship, and service)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Clinical expertise in providing evidence-based assessment andtreatment to youth and families in an outpatient mental healthsetting
• Strong foundation in behavioral and cognitive-behavioraltheory. Well-versed in evidence-based treatments and ability toflexibly apply these interventions with fidelity across a widerange of presenting concerns
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team andindependently
• Capacity for flexibility and adaptability in different worksituations
• Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and maintain awell-organized work environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to provide effective supervision to mental healthtrainees and consultation with other mental healthprofessionals
• Knowledge of research and quality improvement methodology, aswell as the ability to independently conduct research and/orquality improvement projects

Anticipated Pay Range:

Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor: $105,000to $120,000

Associate Professor: $130,000 to $145,000

Professor: $175,000 to $205,000

The above salary range ( or hiring range ) represents theUniversity's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range ofpossible compensation at the time of posting. This position is noteligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
