Job summary

The Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Medicine at UI Health is seeking a child and adolescent psychiatrist to provide direct patient care and expand services.

This position involves teaching and supervising residents and medical students, along with supporting fellowship development. Ideal candidates will have an MD or DO from an accredited school, along with fellowship training in child psychiatry.

Comprehensive benefits are included, and the role offers a salary range of $280,000 to $325,000 per year.

Qualifications

• MD or DO graduate of an LCME/AACOM-accredited medical school.
• Graduate of an ACGME-approved child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship.
• Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Illinois.
• ABPN board-certified in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care & expansion of psychiatric services.
• Supervise and teach general psychiatry residents and medical students.
• Function as a University faculty member in academic roles.
• Support development of ACGME-accredited fellowship.
