Job summary

Mission Health is seeking an experienced Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Advanced Practice Provider to join our Behavioral Health team in Asheville, NC. This is a 100% inpatient position on a 24-bed unit, supporting psychiatrists with case management, ER consultations, and group therapy.

The candidate must graduate from an accredited NP/PA program with PMHNP or psychiatry CAQ, and have at least 1 year of relevant experience including pediatric care, with no visa sponsorship available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP/PA program.
• PMHNP or psychiatry CAQ required.
• At least 1 year of experience as a practicing advanced practice provider in psychiatry/behavioral health.
• Candidates must be able to see pediatric patients.
• Confidence in conducting psychiatric evaluations and provides ongoing medication management services.
• Please note that this position does not offer visa support.

• Two adult, one geriatric, one child, and one adolescent inpatient units
