Job summary

Commonwealth Medical Services in St. Augustine, FL, seeks a Board-certified/eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its expanding inpatient team on an 8-bed unit.

In this role you will evaluate and treat pediatric patients while developing individualized plans within a multidisciplinary setting. The position focuses on inpatient care for children and adolescents with potential to extend to adult inpatients as the program grows; part-time opportunities may be available.

Qualifications

• MD or DO board-certified/board-eligible in Psychiatry.
• Fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required.
• Eligible for Florida medical licensure.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders.
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care within the Child & Adolescent unit.
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team.
• Participate in treatment planning, family education, and discharge planning.
• Provide inpatient adult psychiatric care as needed or growth of the program.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Join a Growing Behavioral Health Program

A behavioral health program in St. Augustine, Florida, is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join its expanding psychiatric team.

This opportunity will primarily focus on inpatient Child & Adolescent Psychiatry within an 8-bed unit. The psychiatrist may also have the opportunity to provide inpatient care within the adult psychiatric program as services continue to grow. Part-time opportunities may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat children and adolescents with psychiatric disorders
• Provide inpatient psychiatric care within the Child & Adolescent unit
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with therapists, nurses, psychologists, social workers, and other members of the multidisciplinary care team
