Job summary

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with psychiatry residency completed.
• Experience in adolescent psychiatry and trauma-informed, family-centered care.
• Experience in residential/partial hospitalization or intensive outpatient settings.
• Licensed in Georgia or eligible to obtain license.
• Board certification or eligibility in psychiatry; child/adolescent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, formulate diagnoses, and develop individualized treatment plans with a multidisciplinary team.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications, monitor treatment response.
• Document care in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and coordinate with therapists, nursing staff, and families.
• Promote ethical, trauma-informed practices across care settings.
