Urban Health Plan in the Bronx, NY seeks a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our Behavioral Health Department. The role evaluates, diagnoses, treats, and prevents mental, emotional and behavioral disorders in youth, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Formación

• Graduate of medical school (MD/DO).
• Completion of Psychiatry residency.
• Completion of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship.
• Board certification required; NYS and DEA licenses.
• 1+ year experience in mental health setting preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provides clinical diagnostic assessments and medication management.
• Conducts individual psychotherapy.
• Crisis intervention.
• Provides consultation to medical providers.
• Participates in clinical team meetings.
• Provides in-service trainings.
