Job summary

MHC Mental Health Cooperative, Inc. is seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist in Memphis. The role involves evaluating and diagnosing patients, prescribing medications, and facilitating hospital admissions as needed.

The position is primarily on-site with a hybrid structure considered. The compensation is above $300K for a 37.5-hour work week, with a comprehensive benefits package and relocation reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Tennessee licensed psychiatrist, board eligible or board certified.
• Valid Tennessee driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose patients with psychiatric emergencies.
• Prescribe medications and provide follow-up.
• Facilitate admission of patients to the hospital if necessary.
• Supervise Nurse Practitioner and/or residents.
• Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings.
