Job summary

Nemours Children's Health in Wilmington, DE seeks a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist focused on Consultation-Liaison psychiatry to join our established service. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive, family-centered care to medically complex youth.

Responsibilities include hospital and ED consultations, supervision of trainees, and participation in program development and education with an academic appointment through Thomas Jefferson University.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
Completion of an accredited Child and Adolescent Psychiatry residency or equivalent training pathway.
Board certification or eligibility in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Interest or experience in Pediatric Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.
Strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and families.

Responsibilities

Provide psychiatric consultation across ED, inpatient acute/critical care units, and ambulatory clinics.
Support medically complex youth with co-occurring behavioral health needs.
Partner with multidisciplinary teams to advance integrated, whole-child care and care pathways.
Educate and supervise fellows, residents, medical students, and other trainees; academic appointment available through Thomas Jefferson University.
Participate in on-call coverage and service leadership responsibilities.
