We are looking for a dedicated, board-eligible or certified Part-time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist for our children's Outpatient services located in Malvern, PA.
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services’ Community-based Outpatient Services team provides behavioral health services for children, adolescents, and young adults, ages 2 to 19, diagnosed with depression, autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit disorder, conduct disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, bipolar disorder, and poor impulse control. We offer individual therapy and family therapy. Individual therapy focuses on identifying behavioral challenges and developing skills to enhance strengths. Family therapy aims to improve communication and support through parent education and family system therapy. Parents and caregivers are provided with parenting strategies to support their children.

As a Part-Time Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with our Pennsylvania Children's Services Outpatient Services, you will...
Schedule: In-office appointments 2-3 days/week; 8.5 hours/day, with availability as late as 6 pm; work hours not to exceed 16-20 hours/week
Caseload of approximately 300-375 individuals, fluctuating with admissions and discharges
Complete Psychiatric Evaluations—max 2 evaluations/day, 90-minute blocks (60 mins assessment + 30 mins typing/dictation)
Facilitate Medication Management—scheduled in 20-minute increments back-to-back
Engage in at least 85% of scheduled appointments; maintain quality documentation supporting billing; timely documentation required
Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) serves children, adolescents, and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric challenges. Located in West Chester and Malvern, PA, services include psychiatric residential treatment, inpatient hospitalization, assessment, community-based mental health services, employment and social skills training, and private school educational services for children and adolescents (6-21 years) with various diagnoses.

Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist with current valid license in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain). Completion of an approved psychiatric residency required.
Child psychiatry training if treating population 16 years and younger. Must demonstrate relevant treatment competency through clinical experience, continuing education, and referral letters.
