Job summary

Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) in Omaha seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our outpatient Psychiatric Associates team. This full-time role includes a Monday–Friday schedule with 8am–5pm hours and weekend inpatient rounding, with a collaborative, mission-driven work culture.

You will evaluate and treat adults and adolescents, participate in a broad outpatient program, and work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver whole-person care.

Qualifications

• Certified by ANCC or AANP as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
• Ability to work with adults and adolescents.
• Active or eligible to obtain an unrestricted license in Nebraska and Iowa.
• DEA in good standing with no restrictions in Nebraska and Iowa.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• New patient evaluations, diagnose, treat and manage mental health conditions in Adults and Adolescents.
• Work independently with the support of a collaborating Psychiatrist.
• Fully supported team model including Psychiatrists, Therapists, RNs.
• Relate with colleagues for integrated patient care.
• Relocation assistance for new hires who meet eligibility.
