Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and crisis intervention for adult and child members. You will collaborate with physicians and the psychiatric team to plan and direct individualized treatment programs, including outpatient psychotherapy with individuals, couples, families, and groups.

Essential duties include developing treatment plans, coordinating care, and ensuring documentation meets regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Masters in social work or related clinical field.
• California licensure as a mental health professional (LCSW or LMFT or LPCC).
• NPI required at hire, familiarity with DSM-V and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develops and coordinates clinical treatment programs for adults/children with mental health needs.
• Provides outpatient psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families and groups.
• Prepare intake summaries and treatment plans; maintain confidential records.
• Collaborates with physicians and health professionals to direct treatment plans.
• Participates in on-call rotation and may supervise junior clinicians.
• Advise on referral to external resources and community services.
