Overview

Saint Peter's Healthcare System is seeking a Child Abuse Pediatrician to join our team at The Children's Hospital, a regional tertiary center located in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Saint Peter's University Hospital operates the Dorothy B. Hersh Child Protection Center, a state‑designated facility that serves eight counties in central New Jersey.

Opportunity Highlights

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma‑informed medical and psychological assessments for suspected physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as medical neglect

Requirements

• Successful completion of an appropriate ACGME or AOA accredited Residency in Pediatrics and Fellowship trained in Child Abuse Pediatrics
• Board certification or eligible in Pediatrics and Child Abuse Pediatrics
• MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
• DEA and CDS license
• Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance

Full‑time clinical base compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from 175,000.00 to 750,000.00 USD. This range is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
