Job summary

The Groveland, CA Community Services District is seeking a skilled Chief Plant Operator to manage and oversee the operations of water and wastewater treatment facilities. This role requires a valid Grade III Water Treatment Plant Operator's Certificate and a Wastewater Treatment Operator III Certificate.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, regulatory reporting, and supervision of staff. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in chemical analysis and operational efficiency within a regulatory environment. Health insurance and paid time off are included.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Grade III Water Treatment Plant Operator’s Certificate issued by the California Department of Public Health.
• Must possess a valid Wastewater Treatment Operator III Certificate issued by the California State Water Resource Control Board.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid Training Certification annually.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Regulate and control chemical use for treatment requirements.
• Perform quality control tests and adjust plant equipment accordingly.
