Job summary

Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc. seeks an experienced Chief Wastewater Operator to oversee the operation and maintenance of municipal wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and recharge facilities out of our Mashpee, MA plant.

You will lead daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance with MassDEP permits, and supervise staff while coordinating maintenance and repairs. A Massachusetts Grade 6 Wastewater Operator License is required, with on-site responsibilities and on-call duties

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Grade 6 Wastewater Operator License or higher required.
• Experience operating wastewater treatment facilities.
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and MassDEP requirements.
• Leadership and supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency call-outs as needed.

Pay Range: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour depending on experience
