Job summary

Tomoka Pines Veterinary Hospital in Ormond Beach, FL, seeks a Medical Lead Veterinarian to guide the DVM team and uphold exceptional medical care. This role blends clinical practice with leadership, mentorship, and strategic oversight within the Mission Pet Health network.

You will mentor veterinarians, lead quality care and client service, and contribute to hospital performance and growth initiatives while advancing your clinical interests and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• DVM required and licensed to practice veterinary medicine.
• Experience leading veterinary teams and clinics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the DVM team, including performance development and coaching.
• Model highest standards of medical care and client service while practicing as an associate.
• Collaborate with Practice Manager to develop annual operating plans and monitor hospital performance.
• Promote professional growth through monthly doctor meetings, externships, and recruitment initiatives.
• Represent the hospital in community engagements and brand advocacy for Mission Pet Health.
