Indiana University Indianapolis seeks its next Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education and Dean of University College. The Vice Provost leads undergraduate education strategy, aiming to improve retention and graduation outcomes while advancing student-centered learning across campus.

Reporting to the Provost, the role partners with academic deans, faculty, student affairs, enrollment management, and institutional research to implement data-informed initiatives and experiential learning

Qualifications

• Doctorate or terminal degree required.
• Significant administrative leadership experience in higher education.
• Strong record of advancing student success, retention, and graduation outcomes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to advance undergraduate student success and academic excellence.
• Lead initiatives to improve retention, persistence, and graduation rates with measurable goals.
• Provide oversight for tutoring, mentoring, advising, and related student support programs.
• Collaborate with faculty governance and academic leadership to advance general education and experiential learning.
• Manage resources and develop cross-divisional partnerships to support undergraduate education.
