Have one year of specialized experience which includes. Supervise and direct employees at a training branch; 2) manage a part of training programs or conduct training support operations with things such as current and future doctrine, threat analysis, or force structure; 3) plan operation or maintenance activities for a part of training ranges, land, or facilities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
