About Us:

We’re a fast-growing healthtech company transforming how patients access clinical trials. Our platform connects people with research opportunities at scale, helping speed up the development of new treatments. We're solving a complex and highly regulated problem with technology—and we're looking for a CTO to lead the way.

The Role:

As CTO, you’ll be responsible for all things technical: full-stack engineering, IT infrastructure, internal tools, and regulatory compliance. You’ll lead architecture decisions, build and scale a modern SaaS platform, and hire the internal engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a deep software development background who wants to own technical strategy at a healthcare company with real impact.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and manage a high-performing engineering team (currently outsourced)
• Oversee internal systems (ERP, workflow tools) that support clinical operations
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant infrastructure and secure data practices
• Align tech strategy with operational and business goals
• Lead QA, IT, InfoSec, and regulatory compliance efforts

Skills and Experience:

• Strong full-stack engineering background and SaaS architecture experience
• Experience leading teams and scaling products in healthtech or other regulated industries
• Deep understanding of HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, and InfoSec best practices
• Hands-on and comfortable owning both strategic direction and technical execution
• Experience with ERP or enterprise systems is a plus
• U.S.-based and open to early-morning collaboration (preference against West Coast unless flexible)

Compensation:

$275,000 - $325,000 base + bonus & equity. As well as Health, Dental, Vision, 401k and more.
