Key Responsibilities

Technical Strategy & Engineering Leadership

• Define and execute a scalable technical roadmap that supports platform growth and product development goals
• Integrate AI capabilities across user-facing and internal applications, accelerating automation and personalization
• Establish technical frameworks, quality standards, and agile processes to drive consistent execution across teams
• Collaborate with product leadership to bring new features to life with speed, clarity, and user-centric design
• Lead development of platform enhancements that support growing enterprise demand, including integrations and reporting tools
• Lead and grow a distributed engineering and AI team, fostering a collaborative, high-output culture
• Drive performance management, talent planning, and ongoing development for engineering and technical staff
• Elevate capabilities through strategic hiring, mentorship, and cross-functional alignment

Operational Excellence & Enterprise Enablement

• Improve visibility, predictability, and accountability in engineering workflows and resource allocation
• Introduce technical systems and automation that increase development velocity and reduce complexity
• Partner cross-functionally to ensure infrastructure and data systems scale with evolving business needs
• Serve as a key technical voice within the executive team, providing insight into strategic planning and business tradeoffs
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to internal and external stakeholders, including board members
• Ensure cross-departmental alignment between technology, product, operations, and commercial functions

Qualifications & Experience

• Senior leadership experience overseeing engineering and AI in fast-growing SaaS (ideally b2b2c) business ranging from $20-100M+ in revenue
• Proven success integrating AI into consumer- or enterprise-facing platforms, with a strong grasp of model development and deployment
• Experience leading distributed teams across geographies and time zones, with a track record of developing talent and building strong engineering culture
• Operational mindset with ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and scale systems for performance and reliability
• Strategic thinker who can balance immediate delivery with long-term innovation
• Bachelor's degree in CS or other technical field required
