Salary Range : $261,000 – $300,000
About the Role
Our client, a mission-driven behavioral health organization using technology to scale life-saving mental health services, is hiring a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) . This executive will lead enterprise-wide technology strategy, drive product innovation, and optimize technical infrastructure to ensure scalable, secure, and high-impact delivery of digital health services.
This is a transformative role for a strategic technology leader ready to shape the future of behavioral health delivery.
Must-Haves
10+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in an executive role
Proven success in digital transformation across complex, customer-facing environments
Expertise in cloud platforms, telecom / call center systems, and cybersecurity
Experience leading large-scale technology teams (20+ FTEs, multi-disciplinary)
Demonstrated ability to scale platforms supporting 1M+ users or interactions
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Define and execute a 3–5 year enterprise technology roadmap
Partner with the CEO and executive team to align digital strategy with mission objectives
Drive a culture of innovation, experimentation, and accountability
Technology & Product Innovation
Lead development and optimization of proprietary digital health platforms
Oversee cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture
Integrate AI, automation, and analytics to drive operational efficiency and insight
Operational Excellence
Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability of all systems
Establish and enforce ITIL, DevOps, and MLOps best practices
Manage vendor contracts and partnerships to support strategic initiatives
People & Culture
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing, diverse tech team
Foster alignment across Product, Engineering, and Operations
Promote a transparent, collaborative, and mission-first culture
Qualifications
10+ years of IT leadership experience, with 5+ years in an executive capacity
Experience leading enterprise-level cloud transformation and cybersecurity strategies
Deep knowledge of telecom infrastructure and distributed call center systems
Strong familiarity with healthcare or behavioral health technology preferred
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience leading teams through compliance, risk, and IT governance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC2)
