Job summary

Larson Design Group (LDG) seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead the company’s technology strategy, focusing on innovation, AI, automation, and digital transformation. You will guide enterprise technology and oversee architecture, standards, and partnerships to enable client value and business growth.

You will collaborate with executive leadership and discipline leads, mentoring teams and ensuring alignment with operational needs and security requirements across the AEC sector.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of fifteen (15) years of job-related experience, including at least 10 years in a senior technology leadership role and industry experience relevant to AEC.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute LDG's technology vision and long-term strategy.
• Lead AI initiatives and automation efforts across the organization.
• Set architecture standards and oversee BIM/design technology and data management workflows.
• Manage strategic technology partnerships and vendor relationships with an eye toward security and CMMC/CUI compliance.
• Mentor technical staff and promote a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Communicate strategy and progress to executive leadership and the Board.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field

PMP or AI-related certifications or advanced training
