Job summary

Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) seeks a Chief Technologist for Intelligence & Autonomy to shape the Exploration Program Area. The role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, incubating new concepts, and engendering sponsor relationships to create enduring research programs.

Qualifications

• MS in CS, ECE, or related field.
• 7+ years technical experience in frontier AI, intelligent autonomy, ML, multi-agent systems, or related areas.
• 3+ years leadership and project management experience.
• Active Top Secret security clearance experience or eligibility for TS/SCI.
• Proven ability to translate sponsor needs into funded research programs and develop external partnerships.
