Job summary

Tri Star Sports & Entertainment in West Hollywood is seeking a Tax Director to oversee the Integrated Tax and Financial Services team. This role involves managing complex tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and leading a team of tax professionals.

The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in tax practice, an active CPA license, and the ability to effectively lead a diverse team. The position offers a collaborative work environment and competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Ability to reliably commute and report to the Tri Star office.
• Must have experience signing financial reviews and tax returns.
• Active CPA license required, preference for CA or TN residents.
• 15+ years of experience in a Tax practice supporting HNWI.
• Experience managing teams responsible for complex tax returns.

Responsibilities

• Oversee both TSW and TSE offices.
• Build and manage the Integrated Tax and Financial Services team.
• Ensure compliance with tax planning and strategy.
• Review and oversee complex income tax returns.
• Manage performance quality control for all financial statements.

Skills

Experience with various types of tax returns

Proficient use of CCH

Proficient use of QuickBooks

Proficient use of Excel

Use of ERP/tax software and technology

Education

Bachelor’s in Business, specifically Accounting, Finance, or Economics

Master’s in Taxation
