Trinity Health MercyOne is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer to lead strategic planning, business development, and population health across the MercyOne network. This executive will partner with the CEO, attend board meetings, and guide system-wide initiatives in a highly matrixed environment.
Ideal candidates will have 10–15 years in corporate development or strategic planning within healthcare, with multi-hospital and payer experience. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
Employment Type: Full time Shift: Description: The Chief Strategy Officer will be responsible for strategic planning, business development and population health for MercyOne. Accountability includes the assurance that the MercyOne’s vision, mission, and values are evident in the strategic planning, management, operations, and organizational culture of the network partners. This individual will be expected to attend board meetings and report on current activity as it relates to strategic initiatives and the progress of the organization on strategic planning goals. This Chief Strategy Officer will oversee a small number of staff but will be expected to utilize system resources to achieve key goals and objectives within the system by working in a highly matrixed environment.
