Job summary

The National Football League (NFL) is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Strategy to shape the League’s long-term strategy and evaluate opportunities, risks, and changes impacting growth and value creation. The VP will guide long-range planning and advise senior leadership across business units, leveraging insights from sports, media, technology, and consumer trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with MBA preferred and 12+ years of relevant experience in corporate strategy, strategic planning, management consulting, corporate development, finance, or related field.
  • Significant experience developing enterprise strategy, leading long-range planning, or addressing major growth questions within a complex organization.
  • Ability to translate long-term strategy into clear priorities, decisions, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong understanding of market, competitive, technological, financial, and consumer developments affecting enterprise strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the League’s long-range planning process with senior leaders to define enterprise priorities.
  • Perform forward-looking analysis on opportunities, risks and structural changes affecting the League.
  • Identify growth platforms, partnerships, and new operating models for long-term value.
  • Develop scenarios and decision materials to guide leadership under uncertainty.
  • Synthesize strategies, plans, and market developments into a coherent long-range plan.
  • Translate direction into clear priorities and actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare executive-ready presentations for leadership and ownership-facing audiences.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and Corporate Finance to align priorities with finances and investments.
  • Mentor and develop a team of corporate strategy professionals.
