Job summary

The State of Ohio is seeking a Chief of Ohio Pharmacy Services to oversee statewide pharmacy operations, including inpatient and outpatient services. This executive will lead planning and marketing of services, ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, and manage a diverse administrative team.

Qualifications include an undergraduate degree in business administration and relevant experience in policy development, budgeting, and personnel management. Competitive compensation of $47.50–$67.90 per hour is offered, alongside comprehensive employee benefits.

Qualifications

  • 12 months experience in program & policy development for operational unit.
  • 12 months experience determining budgetary needs & spending.
  • 6 months experience scheduling personnel for adequate coverage.
  • 3 months experience writing training materials or conducting training.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all statewide pharmacy operations, including inpatient and outpatient services.
  • Direct statewide planning, development, and marketing of OPS services.
  • Ensure all operations meet federal and state pharmacy practices and laws.
  • Supervise managers and oversee budget development and financial performance.
  • Collaborate with state agency partners to provide clinical leadership.
