Job summary

Kepler Communications, a US‑based role, seeks a Chief Solutions Architect to lead technical strategy and market initiatives for government and commercial customers. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific field.
  • 15+ years of directly related experience or equivalent education/experience.
  • Experience co‑architecting solutions for commercial and Federal customers.
  • Strong design ability to translate concepts into credible products.
  • Proven track record in innovation strategy, new product development and budgeting.
  • Experience mentoring teams within an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and strategic thinking.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen and hold active TS‑DOD clearance.

Role Overview

As the US‑based Chief Solutions Architect, you will report directly to the President of Kepler Communications US and play a pivotal role in supporting US government and commercial customers, as well as engineering and business development teams. You will provide critical technical leadership, drive market presence, and lead strategic initiatives that increase usage and capabilities of the Kepler Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect high‑level technical solutions, concepts, and applications for new market opportunities from inception through commercialization, coordinating with sales and engineering.
  • Champion customer needs by contributing to marketing and sales materials, presenting solutions, and preparing proposals.
  • Partner with sales and engineering to identify and develop solutions that address US Government customers and strategic applications.
  • Work with Kepler’s engineering team to identify, assess, and advance technical upgrades to existing products for commercial and government use, and strategic initiatives worldwide.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the space industry, including technology and market trends.
  • Serve as the technology leader on Kepler’s US leadership team.
  • Travel approximately 25–30% annually (domestic and international).
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or scientific field.
  • 15+ years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience interacting with and co‑architecting solutions for commercial and Federal customers.
  • Strong design ability to translate a notional concept into a technically credible product or service that meets a business case and market.
  • Proven track record in innovation strategy, new product development, strategic planning, goal setting, process development, and budgeting.
  • Experience managing and mentoring individuals and technical teams within an agile environment.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking with problem‑solving aptitude.
  • Ability to convey technical topics in business terms and collaborate cross‑functionally.
  • Intellectual horsepower to identify new opportunities, drive clarity and focus, and make tough decisions in complex, dynamic contexts.
  • Strong oral and written communication, with ability to present to executive leadership.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Current and/or active U.S. TS‑DOD clearance.

  • Master’s degree or PhD in technology or a business discipline.
