Job summary

Galaxia Technologies seeks a Chief Software Architect to shape the technical vision for a space enterprise software portfolio, leading architecture across cloud, data and software environments with DevSecOps and SRE practices.

You will translate mission needs into strategy, mentor teams, and collaborate with executives and customers to align priorities while delivering secure, scalable systems onsite in El Segundo, CA, with travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15+ years in software engineering and architecture for large-scale systems.
• Experience leading enterprise software delivery and modernization; DoD/federal a plus.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or C++.
• Expert in Agile, DevSecOps, SRE, CI/CD, and full-stack approaches.
• Excellent communication to align executives and teams.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or TS with SCI eligibility; CI polygraph.
• Onsite in El Segundo, CA with up to 25% travel.
