Job description

The client is seeking a Chief Services and Programs Officer to help strategically modernize and expand services and programs that support people in accessing work, building independence, and achieving long-term career pathways. This leadership role is expected to respond to shifting market and workforce needs while translating labor-market change—particularly automation and AI—into practical, scalable, participant-centered programs. The officer will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, reporting to the President and CEO, and will be responsible for the vision, strategy, and operational excellence across Services & Programs and Public Affairs activities.

Key responsibilities include leading an innovation agenda, strengthening alignment with employers and the communities served, and advancing organizational strategy to support AI‑resilient career pathways. The role will support the development and delivery of workforce training and education/placement services, with an emphasis on integrated supports for participants facing barriers to work.
