Job summary

Moog is seeking a Chief Security Officer to serve as the company’s primary advisor on physical security, crisis and incident management, insider threat, and travel security. This role requires strategic vision and hands-on leadership, with hybrid work from our East Aurora, NY HQ and Buffalo, NY operations.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in security leadership, bachelor’s in a relevant field, and certifications like PSP/CPP. Travel up to 25% and local residency near Buffalo are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in security management, engineering, business administration, or related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• PSP/CPP certifications highly desirable.
• Experience with global regulatory frameworks.
• Eligibility for high-level security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Must live local to the Buffalo, NY area to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Build the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) team with regional heads and partners.
• Oversee crisis management, incident response, and resiliency planning.
• Promote safety culture and regulatory compliance across the org.
• Use analytics and threat intelligence to guide decisions and resources.
• Translate strategy into procedures covering physical, travel, personnel security.
• Collaborate with Facilities on global expansions and security requirements.
• Standardize site security measures across Moog's footprint.
• Lead investigations and liaise with law enforcement as needed.
