Job summary

Rise is seeking a Head of Security & Infrastructure to own security across its cloud, edge, and on-chain surfaces. You will lead the security program, drive incident response, and implement AI-driven automation in a mostly serverless GCP stack.

You’ll collaborate with the CTO, own governance and compliance, and advance the company’s security posture while minimizing operational toil in a remote US-based role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security engineering and infrastructure with end-to-end leadership
• GCP experience including IAM, VPC, Cloud Run, and SecOps
• Experience building detection, incident response, and playbooks
• Designing zero-trust access and secrets management
• Ownership of security policy, audits, and compliance

Responsibilities

• Own security operations across cloud, edge, and on-chain surfaces
• Set security direction and risk posture as Rise's first dedicated security leader
• Lead SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS initiatives and audits
• Harden infrastructure via Terraform-managed pipelines and Cloud Run deployments
• Develop AI-driven security automation and runbooks
• Maintain disaster recovery, backups, and incident response drills
