Job summary

Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) is seeking a Division Chief Scientist for the Health Emerging & Advanced Technologies (HEAT) Division. The role focuses on directing health data analytics, interoperability, and IRAD investments, while shaping collaborations with researchers, sponsors, and partner labs.

You will lead health technology projects, advance AI applications in healthcare, mentor researchers, and build strategic relationships across Georgia Tech and external partners to deliver

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Health Informatics research with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Proven track record of successful technical execution of complex projects.
• Excellent communication skills to mediate between multiple stakeholders and converge on optimal solution.

Responsibilities

• Represent the HEAT division locally, nationally, and internationally to external collaborators and sponsors.
• Develop and execute strategic and tactical plans to promote and enhance HEAT's capabilities and reputation.
• Mentor HEAT researchers and oversee IRAD portfolio; manage business development and collaborations.
• Develop external and internal strategic relationships with peers across the technical community and Georgia Tech.
