Job description

Scientific Research Strategy & Direction

• Formulate mid-to-long term research plans for the research institute, focusing on cutting-edge AI fields including large language models, multimodal learning, reinforcement learning, and AI for Science, to maintain technological leadership.
• Promote interdisciplinary collaborative innovation and establish joint research mechanisms with universities, enterprises, and laboratories.

Team Management & Talent Development

• Build and lead a high-caliber research team, optimize talent structure, and mentor young scientists.
• Establish an efficient research management system to enhance team collaboration efficiency and innovation capacity.

Academic Influence Building

• Publish research outcomes in top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICML, CVPR, etc.) and journals to elevate the institute’s academic reputation.
• Expand the international academic cooperation network and lead academic events such as workshops, competitions, and seminars.
• Coordinate with technical, product, and commercial teams to drive the industrialization and application of research achievements.
• Establish joint laboratories with leading industry enterprises to promote co-construction of the technological ecosystem.

Academic Background

• PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
• 10+ years of research experience with working experience at world-class universities, laboratories, or corporate research institutes.
• Published 20+ papers in top-tier journals/conferences (including Nature sub-journals, TPAMI, NeurIPS, etc.), or led major key research projects.
• International academic influence is highly preferred, such as serving as conference chair, journal editorial board member, IEEE/ACM Fellow, etc.

Management Experience

• 5+ years of experience managing research teams (team size ≥ 20), with expertise in interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Successfully led national-level or enterprise-level major research projects.

Soft Skills
