Job summary
SF Fire Credit Union, based in San Francisco, is seeking an experienced executive to lead risk management, internal audit, and vendor management. The role reports to the CEO and collaborates with the board to strengthen controls and regulatory compliance while supporting strategic initiatives.
You will drive enterprise risk initiatives, oversee audits, and ensure business continuity and insurance programs align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting or finance or equivalent.
- MBA and CIA preferred for advanced oversight roles.
- Extensive leadership experience in risk management, internal audit, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement enterprise risk management framework across the credit union.
- Advise the CEO and board on risk exposures and mitigation strategies.
- Oversee internal audit and manage co-sourcing partners to address control deficiencies.
- Lead vendor risk management and records retention programs.
- Coordinate business continuity planning and corporate insurance oversight.
- Collaborate with compliance to ensure regulatory adherence.
