Job summary

University of Arizona seeks an Executive Director of Rights and Accountability to provide strategic leadership across rights-based policies and grievance procedures. The role partners with senior leaders to ensure compliant, trauma-informed responses and proactive risk management in a large university setting.

The position oversees investigations, dashboards, and policy lifecycles, while aligning Title IX obligations with the university's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent advanced learning is required.
• Preferred: Master's degree in public administration, civil rights, higher education, social work, law, or related field.
• Experience leading civil rights, EEO, and/or Title IX programs is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a comprehensive grievance system to manage investigations of sex-based misconduct and protected-class discrimination.
• Direct the implementation of measures and supportive services for all parties while ensuring due process and legal compliance.
• Lead systemic rights and accountability initiatives, including policy development and cross-functional coordination.
