Job summary

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul - Cincinnati is seeking a visionary Vice President of Retail Thrift Stores to guide ten locations, drive donor and customer engagement, and optimize logistics and distribution.

This executive will shape strategic priorities, oversee budgets, and build high-performing teams to advance the mission across thrift stores, donation centers, and warehousing. The role calls for a deep background in retail/thrift operations, lean practices, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive retail leadership experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years leading multi-site retail operations.
• Experience overseeing logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain.
• Proven success managing large teams, budgets, and complex operational environments.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short- and long-term retail and logistics strategies.
• Establish annual goals, budgets, KPIs, and operational priorities.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, donation volume, and efficiency.
• Lead procurement, pricing standards, and inventory controls.
• Monitor performance and drive improvements in sales and customer experience.
• Foster a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous learning.
