Central Sunbelt Federal Credit Union is seeking a Vice President of Residential Mortgage Lending to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight of origination, underwriting, processing, and servicing. The role focuses on sustainable loan growth, workflow efficiency, and exceptional member experience within regulatory risk controls.

The candidate will lead team development, ensure adherence to TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, HMDA, and Fair Lending standards, and manage secondary market activities.

Qualifications

• Progressive mortgage lending experience with leadership roles.
• Expert knowledge of residential mortgage and HELOC underwriting.
• Strong understanding of secondary market operations and investor guidelines.
• Active NMLS registration or ability to obtain on hire.
• Experience with mortgage platforms such as Encompass.

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for origination, underwriting, processing, and servicing.
• Oversee compliance with TILA/Reg Z, RESPA, HMDA, and fair lending standards.
• Drive loan growth while maintaining risk controls and profitability.
