- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Experience leading large, complex research communities in higher education.
- Extensive experience in research administration and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Translate ERIK and university research strategies into actionable operating plans and milestones.
- Establish and manage a KPI framework to demonstrate performance, progress, and accountability.
- Drive cross‑functional improvements to reduce administrative burden and improve service quality.
- Lead institutional research compliance programs and coordinate with federal agencies as needed.
- Represent Ohio State’s research operations in national boards and professional associations.
