Job summary

The Ohio State University seeks an Associate Vice President for Facilities and Infrastructure to lead the Enterprise for Research, Innovation and Knowledge (ERIK) facilities strategy and capital initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or other relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Extensive experience in administrative, space management, and/or project management roles, preferably in higher education.
• Strong experience with research environments and facilities.
• Experience in strategic and long-range planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for ERIK facilities and infrastructure.
• Oversee planning, design, and activation of research spaces and capital initiatives.
• Lead governance, policy, and space planning for ERIK-wide facilities.
• Manage capital budgeting and long-range financial planning for research infrastructure.
• Coordinate external partnerships and stakeholder engagement related to research facilities.
