Job summary

Six Flags Over Georgia seeks a dynamic leader to head the Security and First Aid Departments, ensuring the highest standards of safety and guest service across park operations. You will direct public safety, loss prevention, and emergency response, shaping a culture of safety for guests and team members while partnering with regulatory agencies.

The role requires proven leadership, strong budgeting skills, and the ability to manage complex emergencies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in law enforcement, safety, or related field.
• OSHA 30 required.
• Knowledge of Georgia regulations and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lead a team and manage emergencies.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to maximize safety culture for guests and team members.
• Lead Public Safety Departments – Security, Loss Prevention, First Aid, Parking Lot, and Risk Management.
• Budget department expenses and forecast financials.
• Participate in long-range park capital planning and objectives.
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies for permitting and inspection.
• Manage litigation claims and coordinate with attorneys and insurers.
• Maintain Safety and Emergency SOPs and patient care protocols.
• Record use of force reviews and report incidents.
• Communicate safety threats with Park management and staff.
• Review Emergency Response Procedures with agencies; conduct training and simulations.
• Serve as liaison for off-duty police officers; coordinate with security teams.
• Monitor staff survey scores and drive improvements.
• Address guest concerns as Park Guest Service Ambassador.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
