Job summary

Zipline in South San Francisco is seeking a Head of Public Affairs to build and lead a new function that enables rapid market entry, responsible growth, and durable community trust for our drone-enabled logistics platform.

You will design stakeholder maps, cultivate champions, lead a high-performing team, and align policy, communications, and product priorities to support Zipline’s mission across U.S. markets and international opportunities.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership in public affairs and community engagement.
• Proven ability to map stakeholders and build coalitions.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Engineering, Marketing and Legal.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive Public Affairs strategy for market entry and scaling.
• Build and mature the function, hiring and developing a high-performing team.
• Develop detailed stakeholder maps for priority markets and maintain relationship-management programs.
• Build relationships with community members, leaders, and organizations.
• Develop credible evidence and messaging to support public advocacy.
• Partner with Government Affairs and Communications to win public support.
• Establish and report measures of success across markets and launches.
