AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Chief Project Controls Manager to join our Atlanta, GA team. Remote work is acceptable for this position, with a focus on leading cost control, scheduling, and EVMS across major programs.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years in program controls, strong communication skills, and a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. This role requires strategic oversight and hands-on leadership across a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

Accredited associate or bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, engineering, business administration, or related field.
15+ years of experience in program management, cost control, or project controls.
Strong cost management, scheduling, budgeting and estimating skills, with external interface abilities.
Clear analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities; strong communication/presentation skills.
Proficiency with SAP, Oracle, ERP, Primavera or MS Projects.

Responsibilities

Support project controls implementations per company standards.
Assist leaders in strategic and operational duties.
Monitor project and implementation performance.
Enhance coordination and communication among the team and stakeholders.

We are seeking a Chief Project Controls Manager to join our team in Atlanta, GA. (remote work is okay for this position)

How will you contribute to the team?

Support Project Controls implementations consistent with the company standards
Assist company leaders in their strategic and operational duties including, but not limited to:
Addressing and resolving tactical issues,
Monitoring project and implementation performance,
Enhancing coordination and communication among the team and stakeholders,
Ensure compliance with internal and external governance requirements,
Manage a team of Project Controls professionals
Have a strong understanding of all project controls elements (cost, schedule, risk, EVMS, change control)
Proven ability to take the lead on challenging situations
Requires minimal to no direction to accomplish assignments
Can set benchmarks for themselves and others to meet team success.
Advance technical skillsets and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Strong communication and organizational skills

What will you contribute?

Accredited associate or bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, business administration, or a related field. with 15+Years Relevant Experience
Several years of experience in program management, cost control, or a related field, with a strong background in Project Controls.
Must have strong cost management, scheduling, and project planning and estimating skills, as well as the communication skills necessary to interface with external engineering, architectural and construction firms, suppliers, the management team, and other organizations within client organizations. Must have experience in developing budgets, cash flows, and/or schedules.
Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision-making abilities. Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Working knowledge of industry standard software, including but not limited to SAP, Oracle, etc. and ERP, Planning & Scheduling, and cost management applications.
Experience with Primavera or Microsoft Projects is preferred.
Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, and Microsoft Project.
PMI, AACE membership/certification or RICS qualified is preferred, not required
