Job summary

Forestdale is seeking a Chief Program Officer to provide strategic leadership across its child welfare, prevention, and family support programs in Queens and NYC region. The CPO will align services with Forestdale's mission, ensure quality and equity, and oversee cross-functional teams within a data-driven framework.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in a field related to human services or public administration.
• 10+ years of leadership experience in human services, child welfare, prevention, or family-serving organizations.
• Experience managing large budgets and government-funded programs.
• Strong understanding of equity-focused organizational change and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for all program operations.
• Translate priorities into measurable program strategies and outcomes.
• Drive implementation of Forestdale's strategic plan and annual goals.
• Ensure programs meet regulatory, contractual, and licensing requirements.
• Lead governance and cross-program collaboration to drive quality and impact.
• Oversee integration of child welfare, prevention, behavioral health, and family services.
