Job summary
GE Aerospace is seeking a Chief Consulting Engineer - Power Generation to lead high-impact projects in the US Electrical Power domain. You will provide top-level technical authority, mentor engineers, and drive design excellence across the power generation portfolio.
Demonstrated expertise in high-voltage systems, power conversion, and thermal/oil design, with a strong background in aerospace practices. Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Qualifications
- Technical degree in Engineering.
- 15+ years in generation technologies for Electrical Power products.
- Expertise in power generation architecture, high power and high voltage systems.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
- Experience with aerospace systems practices and standards.
- Passion for FLIGHT DECK and ability to drive it in the org.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical consultation and leadership for the US Electrical Power lifecycle.
- Lead design reviews and boards to drive power generation solutions.
- Represent the Chief Engineer's Office on power generation design excellence.
- Mentor the global Controlled Titled Holder community and engineers.
- Lead competency modeling for Power Generation and coordinate with other CCEs.
- Drive engineering process improvements and share lessons learned.
